New uniforms for boxing-inspired hotel

Bespoke uniform designer NKD Clothing has completed the rollout of staff uniforms for the Queensberry Hotel in Bath.

Inspired by the Marquess of Queensberry - originator of the rules of boxing - the hotel required a uniform that incorporated aspects of the Georgian period as well as the sport itself.

Management and reception teams wear a combination of one button suits and olive green and plum shirts with contrasting ties and scarves, while the hotel porters have smart suits, distinctive embroidered fleece jackets and waterproof coats for cold, wet weather.

Female housekeeping staff are dressed in tunic style outfits (pictured), with the male housekeeping staff now dressed in 'cool plus' performance polo shirts, made with a moisture wicking fabric to move sweat away from the surface of the skin.

Supervisors meanwhile, have fashionable, but durable leather aprons, complete with lime green embroidery with waiting staff decked out in olive coloured bespoke fabric aprons.
